2002 Paradise Island The Atlantis Resort and Casino remains the only casino on the island. Since there were essentially no changes this year in the casino property, or casino related things, I thought I would use this space to present some of the other interesting things on the island.
I took a visit to the Cloisters and Versailles Gardens on the island Island. The Cloisters are part of the 12th century French monastery that were brought over to Paradise Island block by block. Once here, it took over two years to painstakenly placed back together to reconstruct the original Cloisters. I photographed the Cloisters and the statue inside in both color and black and white. I chose to photograph the stautes in Vesailles Gardens exclusively in black and white.
